On wife’s deathbed, 92-year-old husband sings ‘their love song’ to her

When two people are married for a long time, especially over a period of 7 decades, their lives are intertwined. The bonds they created and the memories they shared  remain precious. But mostly it’s their love for one another that lives to the end. It’s heartbreaking when one dies and the other has to stay behind – but this loving husband made his wife’s final days unforgettable.

Laura and Howard have been sweethearts for 73 years. At the age of 93, Laura had to be shifted to a hospice.

She was preparing herself for her last days. Even when he was in a wheelchair, Howard stayed by her side. Then in an heartbreaking and touching moment, Howard sang to his wife their favourite song called ‘You’ll Never Know’ by Frank Sinatra. He sealed his love with a kiss, and a reassurance of his undying love …  Laura had her eyes only for her husband.
