How to make a clay copy of your hand

Making a hand-statue is the new must in home decor, and here is an easy way to make your own. Sculpting with clay is usually not an easy endeavor, yet instructions from Melisa Cadell will make things simple enough, so you may want to give it a try.

All you need is a slab of clay. Using your hand as a pattern, you can quickly create a “clay sketch” by cutting from, or adding bits of clay. This way, you’ll find your clay hand to assemble together rather quickly, it’s pretty cool.

Although this clip doesn’t include the final refinements of the sculpture it will be enough to get you started on your very own clay hand sculpture:
