General Tso’s Chicken


Chicken Thigh 1



Egg 1

Salt 1 TSP

Sugar 1 TSP

Pepper 1/3   TSP

Sesame Oil 1/3 TSP

Corn Starch Solution 6 TBSP

Corn Starch Powder 2 Cup



Oil 1 TBSP

Dried Chili Pepper

Garlic I TSP

Ketchup 3 TBSP

Soy Sauce 2 TBSP

Sugar 2 TBSP

Rice Vinegar 2 TBSP

Water 1 CUP


Lemon 1/2

Starch Solution 1 TBSP

Scallion 1 TBSP




  1. Dice chicken into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Marinate with salt, sugar, pepper, sesame oil, cornstarch and 1 egg for 15 minutes.
  3. Coat with one layer of dry flour, deep fry and set aside.
  4. Stir fry dried chili pepper, garlic, and scallion, then put in all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Thicken with small amount of starch solution.
  5. Coat fried chicken pieces with the sauce and serve.
