Hot Dogtopus

Cut the hotdog part way, split into 8 even “legs”, leaving the round end intact for the “head” of the octopus.

Boil or pan-fry the prepare hotdogs to make the “legs” curl outwards like that of an octopus.

Draw a face for the octopus, we used mayonnaise, mustard and seaweed, but you can use anything, so be creative!

The Heart Dog

Slice a hot dog lengthwise, leaving one end connected.
Flip inside-out to form a heart shape and secure ends with a toothpick.

Heat oil in a pan and transfer the hotdog into the pan to fry.

Plop an egg into the center for a lovely breakfast combo.

The Sunny Dog

Slice a hotdog in half length wise into two strips

Taking one strip, make incisions on one side, down the length of the hotdog strip.

Loop into a circle with the incision side on the outside and secure ends together with a toothpick.

Heat oil in a pan and transfer the hotdog into the pan to fry.

Plop an egg into the center to make a beautiful sunflower!

Use asparagus or whatever creative ideas you can come up with for the stems and leaves!

The Knitted Dog

Lay sliced cheese on a rectangle of puff pastry to form a base.

Cut out 5 strips of puff pastry 1/2 to 3/4in wide.

Lay strips on base and fold back every second strip.

Lay one hotdog down and lay strips over the hotdog.

Fold back alternating strips and repeat the process until all hotdogs have been weaved into the pastry strips.

Bake in preheated oven at 350F for 25 minutes

Cut into squares to share!
