Beverly Feder, the artistic director of the Greater Niagara Ballet Company, who has been teaching ballet for decades, was deeply impressed by the performance of Shen Yun Performing Arts on May 5 in Buffalo, NY.
“This was absolutely beautiful. So all I can say is that I’m very impressed.”
Ms. Feder was impressed by Shen Yun’s artists performing the challenging flips and twirls of classical Chinese dance.
“It’s very nice to see [the male dancers], they were very impressive, and it was exciting to see them on stage…the women were beautiful,” she said.
“And the technique was so precise, because I’m looking at technique and I’m looking at precision. It’s very impressive.”
As a veteran dance instructor, Ms. Feder knows that putting on a performance like Shen Yun is no easy feat.
“I’m just thinking of all those beautiful dancers, the precision was amazing. And a lot of rehearsal time, I mean I know this, because I run a company, and I know the amount of work that goes into having a performance. Professionalism, and they are professional.”
