Woman Hospitalized After Dog Attack in South Dallas

A woman was attacked by four dogs in South Dallas, Texas, police said.

The incident took place early morning at around 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 15, in the 4300 block of Hamilton Avenue.

According to FOX 4 the victim was found lying on the ground.

The victim was bitten multiple times by four pit bulls, according to The Dallas Morning News. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Responding officers cornered the dogs at the scene until Dallas Animal Services arrived to collect them.

It’s unclear what the woman’s health condition currently is, as of writing, but firefighters said the victim is expected to survive.

The owner of the four dogs may face criminal charges over the attack. He said he has no idea how his pit bulls got loose, FOX 4 reported.
