Siblings Unite with Long-Lost Brother After 57 Years

A pair of siblings recently found out they have a brother and finally reunited with him after 57 years.

Ellen Ace and Robert Pratt were shocked when they were contacted by someone living in New York state claiming to be closely related to them. Their shock quickly turned into excitement and they decided to meet up with him at the Hampton Inn in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Ace told WNEP she had no idea that she had a brother who was born 18 months before her and was put up for adoption by their mother. Her brother Pratt said equally curious.

“I mean, this guy has been looking for us for his whole life, but we didn’t even know he existed, so today is kind of a crazy day,” Pratt said.

Their long-lost half-brother Jim Ilardi said he only wanted to look for his biological family after his adoptive mother had passed away.

“I was always curious growing up because you have people say, ‘You look just like this person. Are you related?’ And so that was always in the back of my mind,” Ilardi told the news station.

The three siblings now have a lot of catching up to do.
