Family of Bears Climbs Trees, Takes a Swim in Yellowstone National Park

By Zack Stieber

A family of bears was seen romping and playing in Yellowstone National Park near one of the lodges on Monday, May 14.

Yellowstone National Park Lodges shared this footage showing a mother bear and her cubs trying to climb trees and taking a swim.

Yellowstone is one of the best places to see bears and other wildlife in the United States, and is considered one of the more rugged national parks.

Yellowstone’s rangers advise people to stay at least 25 yards from most wildlife, including bison, moose, and mule deer. People should remain 100 yards from bears and wolves.
