Eunice Gayson, who played the first ever “Bond Girl,” has died at age 90.

She played Sylvia Trench in the 1962 Bond debut, “Dr No.”

In the film, her character exchange with Sean Connery’s 007 spawned the iconic catchphrase, “Bond, James Bond.”

Gayson’s official twitter account confirmed the actress passed away on Friday, June 8, adding that “[s]he will be very much missed.”

The producers of the James Bond series, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, said in a statement, “We are so sad to learn that Eunice Gayson, our very first ‘Bond girl’, who played Sylvia Trench in Dr No and From Russia With Love, has passed away.”

“Our sincere thoughts are with her family.”
