Dog sniffs something suspicious under blanket—seeing what’s hidden, it gets incredibly elated

This cute doggie knew exactly how to express his love when he received the best surprise from his buddy.

A soldier who was deployed for nearly a year planned out the cutest surprise for his adorable little pooch. After spending a long time away from his family and dog, he returned home only to receive the best welcome of his life. Everyone was excited to see him, but the excitement his dog showed was way beyond anything he had expected.

The man hid under a blanket on the couch, while one of his relatives had a camera out, all ready to capture the special moment for the two of them. The soldier waited quietly and patiently under the blanket to see how long it would take for his beloved dog to find him.

As soon as the door was opened, the dog walked in already suspicious of something going on. It immediately started sniffing around and moving about everywhere in the home—the dog knew “somebody” was back home.

The smart dog finally finds that special “something” snuggled up on the couch and suspiciously trying to hide under the blanket.

The dog kept wagging its tail and sniffing all over the couch, and then jumped over the couch to sniff even harder. The poor pooch had become too overwhelmed by now, and unable to understand why all this was happening, it started to whine a little.

But when the soldier popped out his head from under the blanket, it only surprised the already super-excited dog. Well, it didn’t take the dog too long to find his beloved owner—and then began all the jumping, kissing, and hugging!

Dog lovers always say: “Your dog may only be a part of your life; to him, you’re the entire world.” Just imagine how difficult it must really be for dogs, or rather any pets, when they are left home alone for a long time.

Anyhow, this soldier received the best welcome he could have ever imagined. It’s so obvious that these two are the best of friends.
