Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Reach Temporary Custody Agreement for Their Six Children

By Zack Stieber

Nearly two years after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, the actors have reached a new temporary custody agreement over their six children for this summer.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County stated that “not having a relationship with their father” would be harmful to Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 9.

The court said the children “are safe with their father” and that it’s “critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship.”

Pitt will have custody of the children for four hours a day from June 8 to 17 in London and is required to spend time with each child at least twice during that period with a psychologist present.

Pitt will have other custody time arrangements later in the summer, including full custody from July 21 to 29. The next hearing will take place on Aug. 13.
