Kim Kardashian flew into Memphis to meet with the 63-year-old great-grandmother who she helped free from prison.
Alice Marie Johnson had her sentence commuted by President Donald Trump and was released from prison on June 6, after Kardashian went to the White House to discuss the case with the president.
Johnson was convicted in 1996 for conspiring with drug dealers. At the age of 41, she was sent to federal prison with no chance of parole.
Kardashian West became aware of Johnson’s story through a video last year. She then took up the cause and spent months seeking clemency for Johnson.
Johnson had spent 22 years in prison before she was commuted.
The pair was seen coming out of a house in Memphis after doing an interview with media.
