Remember the lady who yelled STOP KILLING at the White House? Years later, she hasn’t given up

To face off with the dictator of a country that executes more of its own people than the whole world combined is a daring feat to say the least. Whilst it may be difficult to achieve once—and live to tell the tale—how’d this lady do so twice?

Meet Dr. Wenyi Wang. She’s a brave woman with an upstanding conscience. She also doesn’t mind getting vocal when she feels the need.

Some may recall Dr. Wang making headlines back on April 20, 2006, for humiliating Chinese dictator Hu Jintao during his speech on the White House lawn.

The ex-journalist had been granted entry to the White House with a press pass, but little did her former employer realize she was there on a mission of her own.

“President Bush, stop him from killing! President Bush, stop him from persecuting Falun Gong!” yelled Dr. Wang, who’s a Falun Gong practitioner herself.

The 47-year-old was arrested by the secret service after she got her message out loud and clear. Her sudden outburst that day drew international attention to the abhorrent human rights atrocities taking place in China under Hu’s leadership.

Reports covering the incident highlighted the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong—a popular meditation discipline with core principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.”

Wang faced potential prosecution for disrupting Hu’s speech. In support, renowned human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng wrote an open letter to the jury of Wang’s case.

“What is happening in China, a country that is being violently controlled by the Communist Party? What is the nature of the atrocity that has happened in China that prompted Wang Wenyi to voice her urgent protest in that kind of setting? What is the magnitude of the atrocity? How do we consider the relationship between the atrocity that is taking place in China and the large tenet of human civilization? How do we balance the value of stopping this atrocity and the need to maintain order at the event?”

Gao adds: “…when you have learned without any prejudice the truth of the CCP’s inhumane persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in the past six years [editor’s note: 18 years as of 2018], you will come to a conclusion: Ms. Wang Wenyi is today’s hero of humankind, her courage and morality demonstrate the glory of noble humanity; she represents the hope and the future of human civilization.”

Wang, who spent the night in prison following the impromptu protest, later said “it was an act of conscience and an act of civil disobedience,” after emerging from a U.S. District Court in Washington the following day. Wang was released without bail and all charges were dropped.

Let’s digress to 2001

In Mdina, Malta, Wang confronted former dictator Jiang Zemin, the notorious chief culprit that started the persecution of Falun Gong to “eradicate” the peaceful practice, and who gave the order to harvest practitioners’ organs.

Wang accosted the Party chief, telling him to stop killing Falun Gong practitioners.

Photographer Darrin Zammit Lupi captured the historic moment and won a press photography award for his timely photo.

Dictator Jiang, who is still alive today, is the most sued dictator in history, with over 209,000 lawsuits piled up against him for orchestrating the genocide and mass-murder of Falun Gong practitioners.

His tyrannical persecution policy continues to be carried out to this day.

Dr. Wang, who resides in the United States, holds an M.D. in pathology and a Ph.D. in neuropharmocology. She’s a member of DAFOH (Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting), a non-profit organization that has extensively exposed the Chinese regime’s forced organ harvesting syndicate.

Independent researchers have confirmed that Falun Gong practitioners are blood-tested for their organ health in jails, where they languish in large numbers. A practitioner, who’s been blood matched, is killed on demand once a transplant has been ordered, either by a Chinese national or a foreigner, who’s been promised a matching organ within a matter of weeks.

State-sanctioned organ harvesting is a lucrative billion-dollar industry in China today, and it’s carried out by the army, police, doctors, and politicians.

It’s no wonder why Dr. Wang acted as she did in the past. She couldn’t ignore her conscience.
